The book Chapters in Contemporary Canadian Literature brings a survey of anglophone Canadian literature. The focus is on the period from 1945 to the present, the book, however, outlines also the key developments of individual literary genres and criticism even in the period before 1945. The individual chapters focus on Canadian literary criticism, poetry, fiction, drama, and literary translation. The last section of the book provides a survey of sources for the study of Canadian literature and culture.
