The first part is focused on the museum as an institution, while the second part deals with the construction of the museum building in the Prague-Letná district. The third part is essentially an illustrated guide book to the present-state museum building. The authors used rich resources of the National Technical Museum Archive and National Technical Museum Architecture Archive. Interesting information were also found in the Archive of the National Agricultural Museum. The book is supplemented by a range of reproductions of drawings, posters, photographs and other items from the archives mentioned above.
